SUPPORTING KIDS EDUCATION

As we approach the end of the year, we also approach the beginning of a new school year in Kenya. We will need more sponsors for the children UKI is already supporting. We also plan to increase the number of children to receive support effective January 2012. Schools start in January and we are therefore planning ahead.

Children in Kenya have limited to no access to free early-childhood education. Early-childhood education is considered by psychologists as essential to the child's brain development. If UKI is not able to support children who cannot afford free early-childhood education, then fighting poverty and child abuse will be an impossible mission.

Please consider making a monthly or a one-time tax-deductible donation to educate a child. Estimated cost per child is $30/month which includes tuition, school supplies, 2 meals a day and other necessities.

OUR RECENT MISSION TO KENYA

We just came back from Kenya- Summer Mission 2011.It was very fun and we all experienced the favor of God. Oh yes! It was a life changing experience.As we distributed the school supplies, children sang Christian songs as they praised the name of the Lord for providing love to them.Medical supplies were received by those who needed them. We saw their appreciating faces as they said "thank you".Just like Jesus would do today, we fed the hungry. School children and families that needed food at that moment had enough to eat and keep.Of course, we received many many requests. They are expecting us back soon. They know that we go to remind them of God's love.That is why your monthly/or one time gift is important in changing lives.Go! You are the feet and hands of Jesus and you are called to the mission of God in Kenya and around the world.
